Informative and friendly
I was informed before the course that I should not swim following an episode of TGA. in October.
However I found Jude and Paul very knowledgeable and enjoyed the session. I have heeded their advice and will hopefully swim again at Longside in the summer.

A massive thanks to you both for this morning. I feel equipped to enter the water safely and will certainly do that now. Having lost running due to having been diagnosed with axial spondyloarthritis and osteoarthritis it has been hard. I now have another exhilarating option which will also potentially help with reducing pain ❤️

Great event, which made me feel at ease for my first open water swimming session.
I thoroughly recommend attending the cold water essentials course. The information given was great, easy to understand. I liked how you were given the time to ask questions, which made me feel at ease, before having a go. It was good to then actually get into the water to put everything learn't into action. Great course, thankyou!

Wonderful experience
Really enjoyed it, Paul was very encouraging and made me feel very safe in a new environment and was always positive and helpful, a fantastic morning and can’t wait to go again next week

Although I only managed the enter the water up to my groin area I can’t describe how totally supportive,professional,encouraging and caring Jude and Paul were yesterday.
The whole experience was mind blowing and I will 100% be back to give it another shot.
