The Wild Swim Project provides cold water swimming sessions to adults and young people in Surrey with the aim of improving their mental health. We work closely with the NHS, CYPS and charities to provide sessions to meet individual needs. The impact is often life changing. We are the only people in the UK using cold water dipping to support young people in this way.

Poor mental health is a growing epidemic in the UK. It affects every single one of us in some way and can have a huge impact on people's personal, family, community and work life.

Immersion in cold water has been proven to help people manage both their physical and mental well being. It helps people connect with nature, be social, be active in a non competitive way and the cold water itself can help reduce stress and anxiety, improve people's quality of sleep and increase their energy levels. The Wild Swim project aims to reach those people who whether for social economic, cultural or other reasons may not have the opportunity to benefit. We know there are many barriers to people taking part and we aim to remove them and offer equal opportunity to all.
